GRADING: If you would like your numismatic item graded, Redzone Numismatics is the company to choose! All our staff a experts at grading numismatic items that have had many years experience. If you wish to have your coin graded by us, please read this document featuring our grading terms and conditions.
We grade all Australian decimal and pre-decimal coins and banknotes. When we grade a coin we look at the mint lustre of the coin, the sharpness of the lettering, and the amount of wear and scratches on the design to grade your coin with this grading scale – G (good), VG (very good), F (fine), VF (very fine), EF (extremely fine), A/UNC (about uncirculated), UNC (uncirculated), CH/UNC (choice uncirculated), GEM (gem), PROOF (proof) (this is the common grading scale used for grading coins). The grading system for banknotes is different. When we grade a banknote, we determine the grade by the crispness of the note, whether the note has any rips, folds, stains or creases, and the overall condition of the note. This is the scale that we use for grading notes: PR (poor), FR (fair), G (good), VG (very good), F (fine), VF (very fine), EF (extremely fine), A/UNC (about uncirculated). We charge a reasonable grading fee of $2.70 per item. If you want a grading done by us please do the following: Email us your full name and a clear picture of the obverse and reverse of each item (if pictures are not clear enough we will be unable to grade your item), we will grade your item within three days and send you an email with your grading results, we will then ask you to pay us the required fee through a BANK TRANSFER, where you place the money into our bank account- this can be done online or at any bank. If you fail to make a payment police will be contacted and penalties will apply. If you want a free valuation done by us please do the following: Email us your full name and a very clear picture of both sides of each item (if pictures are not clear enough we will be unable to value your item) We will then send you an email within three days containing the value of your items. If you wish to buy an item off our website please do the following: Email us your name, postal address and tell us the item that you wish to buy. You must then pay us the required amount of money + $3.00 for postage through a BANK TRANSFER (this is when you place money strait into our bank account- this can be done online or at any bank) We will not post the item you wish to buy until you pay us the required sum of money! Our bank account details are listed bellow.
If you wish to buy an item that is listed on our Facebook page please do the following: message the page or comment on the post to let us know you wish to buy that item so we can remove it from the page. You must then tell us your full name and postal address, you must pay us the required amount + $3.00 for postage through a BANK TRANFER. We will not post the item you wish to buy until payment is received.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, you may ask for a 100% refund within 30 days of purchase. Buyer pays return postage.
